The interview would start with a long shot of the location of the pub, tracking shot and close ups of the decorations throughout.
It's a summer evening in the suburbs of New Malden. Hiding in one of the corners there is a small pub, called Woodies Freehouse, this is where I got my first job. The pub has a very unique but special look. It has a variety collection of posters, tickets, objects, sport balls, china plates and anything you can think of is pretty much hanging from the walls of the pub! I have been going to this pub since I was about 11 years old with my dad, from drinking a diet pepsi to, now drinking a pint of Peroni. The pub has a mixture of different customers, there are the regulars which all sit round 'death row'. The reason we call it death row is because they are all locals and have been for a long time! However some regulars decide not to sit around 'death row' some sit in the corners of the pub.
"I started working in this pub in March, just after St Patricks Day. My dad and I came in for drink and the manager offered me a job. After that my life changed, before I was uncomfortable with speaking to the public but after a couple months of working at this pub I have become a lot more confident."
The pub has a variety of events that happen weekly, there is a open mic night and a quiz every fortnight. Whereas live music bands and special festivals sometimes perform on friday and saturday nights.
This would be a perfect place for an interview about this significant event as it all took place in this small pub and the way it is decorated is very unique and I don't think there are any other locations that I know of that look similar.
